Ride Complete, Heart Still Racing

I swear this actually happened. My Uber pulls up, and this woman steps out like she owns gravity. Confident, grown, dangerous in a “you better hydrate” kind of way. Five minutes in, she tells me to sit up front “because energy matters.” Now we’re talking, laughing, and suddenly it feels less like a ride and more like a life decision. She’s teasing me, I’m trying to act experienced, failing spectacularly. By the time we stop, she leans in, smiles slow, and says, “Careful, baby. I don’t do casual.” Uber says ride complete. My heart says... absolutely not.
